Do you think kids are having sex way too young nowadays?

I was talking to my 12 year old cousin the other day and he says that the kids in his class are already having intercourse and oral sex. When I was 12, I hardly knew what sex was! Don't you think this is a little young? Have you heard about this happening in your area?
